. Here's What You Get:
1. A complete Pre-Inspection: to evaluate carpet areas to be cleaned, identify spots,
stains or other problems, such as installation errors. What can be done to rectify existing
problems and any additional costs? The fiber type is also determined, with a quick test.
2. Pre-Spray: Based upon the fiber type, a specific non-residual, solution is applied to the
carpet, this helps to break up the soils and bring them to the surface of the carpet. The solution
that I use is also very effective on most spots and stains.
3. Odor Counteractant: If needed, This additive is an actual deodorizer, not just a cheap
fragrance. This deodorizer works on most common odors found in carpets. Some problematic
malodors such as urine may require specialized treatment though.
4. Hot-Water Extraction: Thorough, hot water rinsing and thorough extraction is done to
remove all of the bacteria, fungus, chemicals, pollens, dirt, and residues from your carpet. Extra
attention to extraction is given to allow for fast drying of the carpet.
5. 3M Scotchgard SR: (when requested) SR stands for stain release, an added benefit of
this superior protectant, which helps prevent dyes from penetrating and possibly permanently
staining your carpet. Application is optional, however most clients have it applied to ensure long
carpet life and minimal wear.
6. Grooming: This procedure helps the 3M penetrate deeper into the carpet for base to tip
protection, as well as setting the pile of the carpet for faster drying.
7. Post-Inspection: After the cleaning is done, the client is made aware of any flaws, or
installation defects, stains that may not have responded to treatment, conditions of wear, and a
prescription to minimize or remove these problems is provided.
I almost forgot, We Move Most Furniture---- Please note, we follow industry safety
standards when moving furniture. All furniture is moved with the exception of heavy and
breakable items including china cabinets, pianos, bookcases full of books, beds, sectionals,
large dining tables, dressers or any electronic equipment including TV’s, VCR’s, stereos or
computers. We follow this industry standard on all initial cleanings where furniture moving is
provided. We replace the furniture back, with protective tabs or styro blocks to avoid damage
to the carpet and the furniture.
Below are some of the things that can affect pricing. I try to cover everything, so there are no
surprises for you or me.
These are what we look for in the inspection and evaluation visit.
1. Spotting – Special attention to spots is included in normal job performance. However time-
consuming specialized spotting or prolonged effort on excessive (20 or more, per area) or color-
added spots (ex: kool aid, pet stains, red stains, rust, etc.) may incur an additional charge.
